Baccarat is most commonly associated with classical era closepack paperweights as they were most numerous. Other makers made closepack designs as well and Clichy closepacks are arguably the most sought after. A particularly attractive design element found in most Clichy closepacks is the the stave basket. This particular example features green and white basket holding a pink, purple, and green toned collection of complex millefiori including several roses, moss canes, pastry mold canes,  and a number other fascinating complex murrine.
