Makers Mark: Acid etched near the base “Baccarat 1953” and it still retains the original paper label, “Made in France”.

A lovely early modern design from 1953 featuring a highly detailed sulphide by Gilbert Poillerat to commemorate the coronation of the encased with a blue over white double overlay and finished with exceptionally complex cold work faceting.  Only 101 pieces made featuring a white over blue overlay.
