Vintage Baccarat Art Glass Paperweight John F Kennedy Sulphide With Blue Overlay

Makers Mark: Acid etched to the flat polished base with the “Baccarat France” insignia. The cameo is marked, “A. David 63”.

A 1964 sulphide with cameo by Albert David. This particular design was made in numbers with various editions of differing cold work, overlays and grounds - including several "1-offs" or prototypes. This is one the rare prototypes, the only known example having a blue ground, pale blue overlay, and 5+1 faceting.
