The cylindrical form features a closepack millefiori roll-up on the vertical sides including numerous red and white roses and several dragonfly silhouettes dancing through the scene. The weight is capped with a large detailed picture murrine depicting a pair of colorful kingfishers set against a white background and framed by patterned concentric millefiori including green moss style canes, red roses and green and orange daisies.
