One of the less common paperweight techniques is found in this example with the use of frit in three dimensions, few artists use such a technique, most frit weights are flat, without dimension. Considering the technique, the detail is spectacular, with elegant cattails, and a realistically colored mallard flying over a blue pond. The perfect weight for the nature lover or birdwatcher.
