Ro Purser could be considered the father of the modern murrine movement. He has worked for decades making original graphic style murrine, frequently featuring a white image executed framed in a solid color. It is not uncommon for a work such as this to include 100 different images spanning the entirety of Ro's career - some made last week while other made several decades ago. This is a particularly large and very desirable example. It is a wonderful object to explore in ones hand and catalog each image.
